Speed Festival

| Ashley Moor News

Bromyard is being turned into a racing circuit on Sunday for the town’s first ever speed festival.

Visitors can see more than a hundred vintage vehicles and the highlight of the day will be the appearance of the Sunbeam ‘Blue Bird’ in which Sir Malcolm Campbell broke the world land speed record in 1924 and again in 1925.

It’s hoped that the day could become an annual celebration of Bromyard’s history as the birthplace of the Morgan Motoring Company and attract thousands of people to Herefordshire.

Things to Do

The perfect place to explore the Herefordshire countryside, driving, biking, riding or on foot with wonderful walks waiting in rolling fields or in the surrounding woodlands. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and forget about your hectic life and enjoy the rural living on this wonderful farm.

We have beautiful rural walks on our doorstep taking in local wildlife, handsome oak trees and amusing livestock. Our landscapes change through the seasons, from frosty lanes in winter, to buttercup fields in May, to golden hay bales in the summer to abundant hedgerow harvesting opportunities in Autumn.
