Sad times down at the hen house……Bob the cockerel who has for many years been a wonderful husband to all the hens passed away. I would say in his sleep but Mary had something to do with his departing.
You will be please to know we have a new husband for the hens…..Duncan. He is very handsome and sliver in colour. The ladies love him.
Also to depart this week was the South Devon bull Winston. He was great working homebred bull and leaves some very pretty daughters to contine the herd.
